InteTrak

provides the right solution whether your application's goal is:

high-frequency real-time (RT) processing for immediate indication of displacement

periodic static processing (RS)
for long-term performance monitoring

or the combination of both techniques (CMB).

InteTrak GPS Network Monitoring Software

At the heart of our GPS networks lies the InteTrak monitoring software, Orion's turnkey solution that provides comprehensive management of continuous GPS monitoring systems.

InteTrak RT is a true real-time displacement monitoring system. It does more than simply handle real-time data streams from remote receivers. It provides accurate, indications of point displacement as they occur. This is because InteTrak RT uses doubly-differenced GPS data as its primary observable, which we believe is a minimal requirement if your goal is true, real-time indications of motion rather than just a solution processed at low latency.

Competing techniques - such as triple-differencing or filtering of the processed data stream - consciously trade real-time response capability for what appears to be improved precision. Unfortunately, these techniques can lead to a loss of position accuracy as displacements develop. InteTrak RT enables optimal real-time positioning so that the user can recognize significant displacements as they occur (~20-50 ms).

InteTrak-RT time series view of real-time solutions: 2 stations, 1 second data, 300 second data span, NEU components.

If your goal is high-precision, long-term performance monitoring, however, InteTrak RS provides static (batch) processing of data spans from several minutes to several hours in length. This processing approach allows higher precision solutions because the effects of systematic and random noise are reduced in longer solution spans. RS enables high-quality positioning in near-real time, and is comparable or favorable to any competing technique. RS is the ideal method to define the ongoing performance of your structure or hazard, a baseline against which anomalous signals are detected.

Finally, in cases where a project needs to anticipate real-time damage and hazard assessment in addition to a primary role of continuous, high-precision monitoring, InteTrak CMB combines both solutions in a single interface. CMB is the ideal route to a fully flexible structure and hazard monitoring program.

InteTrak was developed for the Microsoft Windows operating systems (NT, 2000 and later). InteTrak supports receivers and raw data formats from a wide range of GPS manufacturers.
